Week 8 - TaskU

Updated: Apr 3, 2022

For the past two weeks, we have been focusing on solving the problem we discussed in the previous weeks.

First, we started with a full description of the persona that will use the product. We then defined our solution proposal for the first-year student stress problem:

A product called TaskU combines tasks for up to a week. Task importance can be defined by 4 classification categories. When using the product the user writes a task on a note and attaches the note to a barbell that represents one of the classification categories (the barbell was given to him from the product itself). The user then places the weight on the product in the appropriate place for the selected classification category and presses a large red button that symbolizes the "downloading" operation. Pressing the button allows the weight to enter the device, to its designated place. At this point, the task written on the note is presented to the user through TaskU.

When the user wants to perform a task, he selects a category according to the free time he has, clicks the button in the appropriate place in TaskU and the product will assign him a suitable task.

We then went on to describe the interaction of Noa, our persona, with the product.

Finally, we finished preparing a brief explanation that we can present to the mentors we will meet this coming Sunday. Our goal is to explain to the mentors the problem clearly, its solution and meaning in a way that they can connect to, as well as get from the mentors workable advice and something to think about. Thus, we believe that we can move towards a finished solution that is very precisely adapted to the problem we are dealing with.

Thanks for reading, see you next week!
