This week we had our last speed mentoring before the real thing!
Before the speed mentoring had begun, we gathered in the lab and prepared our table with all the prototypes we have developed during the year.
We sharpened our pitch for the last time and got ready for people to come and see our progress and final product.
At 9:00 am people rushed to the lab and walked by all the tables to see the different prototypes.
Slowly, more and more people came to our stand and started gaining interest in our product.
People were very interested in how the product works, why we chose to develop Mind-Ball, and to hear about the difficulties we were facing while developing it- until we got to the final form. from what we have seen people found it really “de-stressing” to squash the Mind Ball and play with it whilst talking to us and asking questions. People also loved to hear the progress and see how the things we’ve learned from the old prototypes have had an effect on the final Mind-Ball.
I could say that we’ve learned a lot from the speed mentoring.
We’ve learned so much about how to handle a lot of people when pitching and answering questions, and how to dynamically shift the audience from one to another in order to adjust the number of people between us.
I feel like the speed mentoring has really prepared us for the final ceremony and demo session of the lab.
I can finally say we are ready! Can’t wait to see you there!
